As part of B.Ed course,we were assigned different schools for the internship phase. It commenced on November 13,2017,Monday. The school allotted to me was St.Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Patton. During this phase, we are supposed to take thirty lesson templates. In addition to it we have to prepare lesson templates for physical education and health education, collect data for our project and conduct achievement test and diagnostic test. We were given necessary guidelines regarding our activities in school including the deadline in which we have to complete our work.
Critical analysis of first week( Nov- 13-17)
I began my internship phase with great expectation and dedication. I was assigned class 8 A to take English under the guidance of Renuka Devi teacher. I started my internship practice phase with a poem. I have also displayed beautiful chart to give a good idea of the poem. I was trying to provide some knowledge beyond text book knowledge. I could ensure active participation from students. I engaged students effectively in the group activity and in the end of each lesson I gave them some related activities to practice. During this week, I got a privilege to take part the revenue district school science fair and vocational Expo. Creativity of the students really inspired me to improve my teaching skills.
